Reality TV...More Like Boring TV

Hey All,

What a load of crap being put on television nowadays, all I ever seem to see on tele of later is reality TV.

Take for instance, you have Pop Idol, Australian Idol, Aremican Idol, UK Idol, Dancing with the Stars, X-Factor, I mean this is shite TV not Reality TV.

It's basically Crappy Stars trying to make a come back or it's wannabe actors, it's also now being called, unscripted drama, the reason being is none of them can actually remember there lines.

The worst thing about it, is that all the TV channels in my belief, are all working together, for as soon as one is over there is another one just starting. Have we as people, become so bored with our own reality that we have to watch some one elses fake reality, I mean really, take a closer look at it, those that watch this crap, really don't have a life beyond TV.

No wonder Australia, America and the UK are some of the fattest people in the world now.

I really think that if the television companies actually did a proper survey on what people want and not a selected survey, they would really learn that people are sick to death of poorly acted television, and basically thats al it is, is poorly acted, unscripted crap for they can't even remember the parts that they are suppose to be doing.

I'm no actor and frankly, don't want to be either, leave that to the pros, the second thing they then get the public to ring in, get billed by via the phone number they just dialled, this is also why Televison Companies do it, as it makes them more money than the ads they air, what a scam.

I say we need to SAY NO TO REALITY TV CRAP!

The day is turning out to be a fantastic day, and I'm having to be in the office today Yuck!

I can imagine myself skydiving today as there isn't a cloud in the sky, not like yesterday, heavy rain high winds. Yes even Queensland gets rain once in while.

The surf is also looking great from up here on the 13th level of the offices on the Gold Coast.

If I finish early, I think I'll go for a surf, I always care a board or bodyboard in the car.

Never miss an opportunity to do some outdoors.

First let me say happy birthday Andy you old git as you know once you turn 35, it's all down hill from here and since you are 3 years over that already, you are now starting to pick up some momentum, when your reach 40, well the breaks fail, whats that only 2 years now!

I can only wish I was there for your shin dig, but alas I'm not, never mind I'll owe you 38 punches in the arm. hehehe

To those that have just joined me and my blog, Andy is a good friend and one of the most talented musicians I know, not only can he play instruments but he's a bloody good sound engineer too. So anyone out there looking for man who has skill oozing from his pours and needs someone who really knows his stuff, this is the man.

Well guys and gals, now to update some more stuff happening in my life.

There is someone very dear and special to me, which we have started e-mailing each other regularly, I guess I fell out of touch for a while, confused and mixed up with my feelings, well this time I have expressed my feelings towards her, I would say that she has responded to those feelings expressed, without jumping the gun, with the same to me.

Now without getting these two upset with me, I'd like to mention some one else, but of course there names won't be published as I respect there own privacy as much I do mine.

Well I have asked her out to dinner now, and I am waiting for a response, I may have come on too strong, but then we all learn by our mistakes. I just hope i haven't wrecked a friendship with her.

To me no matter how far friends live from each other we must make the effort to stay in touch, for special bonds are formed with those who are true to there hearts and souls, in this case I am speaking about all those friends of mine even if i haven't seen them for years.

Now sadly, I won't be jumping this weekend as I have an IT project that needs attention, but if all goes well, I'll be doing a Good Friday Easter Jump/s. On top of that my younger brother will be coming down to watch, and to decide whether he will take the plunge, and experience something that either is equal to or surpasses the feeling that sex gives people. The rush is out of this world.

Well, I do apologise for not posting anything for a couple of days, but I have been busy.

So now thats out the way, where do I start. Okay lets start from today and work backwards.

Today I had Breakfast with the woman I have been chasing, we are on first name basis now, and I have found out a fair bit about her. She's a dancer for one thing, this doesn't bode well for me as I have 2 left feet. She loves the outdoors, camping, also loves to dine out and to hang out in cafe bars.

I didn't get to have lunch with her, as I had to have a lunch meeting. I also would like to point out that I consider her a friend now, and if something does eventuate from this then good, but if it doesn't I won't push it then, as I would like to have her for a long term friend.

Yesterday, is when I actually had the chance to talk to her, it all happened at lunch, we sat down at the same table and just chatted about all sorts of things, from food to sports, about homes and jobs. Then she suggested going out one evening for a bite to eat, so I said it's adate, how silly of me, for all I know i might have scared her off.

Well I'll fill you in later on what else happens, for now I'm off out.

Saddle sore...

Hi all,

Well I'm at my brothers property, and spent five hours mustering cattle, 2 hours on quad bikes and 3 on a saddle. The horse I'm riding is a big horse, 18 hands, his name rusty, and it's due to the colour of him. He's not a bad horse, does all the work for you, all you have to do is stay on him and he'll do the rest, he is also a little lazy, in the sense that you have hop on him to make him do anything otherwise he'll stand there at chew grass all day long.

Well, it's late now, and I should be trying to rest.

Drive and a half

Wow I'm glad that drive is over, I'm currently in Stanthorpe, with my younger brother and his family.

I should say it took 3 hours to get here, but finally, I am. The car went well up over the ranges, never dropped below 80Kph over the ranges, I looked at trip computer and my average speed was 110Kph. I know at one stage coming down the ranges I was siting on 120kph.
Once we got on to the straights and on the plains, we were cruising at around 140 -160Kph.

Well I'm off to ride the quad bikes, and help my brother muster the cattle in.

So I will be later, the sun is still out and won't be dark for about another 4 hours.

Okay, so I'm late at posting today, so shoot me, or throw me out of a plane.

I have been given a bigger office now so i have been busy today trying to organise my move in to it, and rearranging the furniture to make it more appealling to work in.

Finally finish, and now I have been invited downstairs for a drink or two with the bosses.

Sorry for being short today, but it is Friday after all, and it's time to party.

Weekend things to do.

Saturday Morning - Go jump out plane a number of times.
Saturday Afternoon - Drive 3 hours to Stanthorpe to visit my younger brother and his family. Stay overnight.
Sunday Morning - Visit some Wineries in Stanthorpe, (No Drinking Must Drive Later)
Sunday Early Evening - Drive Home, wash up and have dinner then go to bed, or what ever.

The Cyclone is nearing...

Hi All,

Well I have sto say, North Queensland has one of the worst cyclones about to knock on it's door, bad for them, but great for us in South Queensland.

The swells for surfering are starting to pick up, and are predicted to hit 5meters (25Feet), this is were you have to be really good or really crazy to attempt to surf such swells. I consider myself good, but more crazy. As I look out of my office on the 13th floor I can already see the swell size picking up, and I reckon by the weekend it'll big huge.

We are also feeling some bad weather at the moment which once again to a surfer is great news as this helps to push the swell size even more, along with king tides at the moment, which are helping.

The bad news about this weather, is no skydiving for us jump junkies.

But I'm no ordinary jump junkie, I'm also a surf fiend. . >:)

Oh well, time for me to start getting ready for home.

By the way this woman, I'm trying to build the courage up to ask out, I failed again.
She did say hello to me in passing, whilst I was at the coffee shop, and of course she did grab my arm when she said hello, but I won't put to much into that, as I think she's more a touchie, feelie person to begin with. I have to admit it did feel good when she grabbed me. I heart skipped a beat or two, in the process.

Well I give another update maybe later tonight or tomorrow. As far as I can tell I'm not going out tonight except to go and do the food shopping.

Hi All,

Well this is just a quick one, for today, just been busy with work, just the boring crap in my life. (haha)

It's amazing how dependant people become on others, like take today so far, one of the Banks decided to not let us know about the broker software upgrade, that was taking place, which mind you, it was scheduled for next monday. Well they were ahead of schedule and didn't bother to inform us, so well could prepare for there roll out.

Lucky for them I was on the ball today and created with in the group policy to roll it out to 85% for the staff with in the company, the other 15%, I sent them a link to run the setup software with detailed instructions and screen shots of what was needed to achieve the installation of the new software.

Well, of course out of that 15% I would say 30% got it right for they actually read the instructions properly, for the rest well, this is were that dependance comes in to play. I have a acronom for these types of users 'DFU' Meaning - Dumb F&*king User. I wish they'ed learn to read, and be able to follow instructions, as well as using some common sense, instead of being Lemmings. I like the game as I always try to get a 100% death rate out of my Lemmings. Morbid that it may be, but if you have seen the game then you'd understand why I like to kill them off.

One good thing that has happened today for me is recognisition for some hard hours put in today at the ELT and IT Steering Committee Meeting this morning.

On a brighter note, I have started to read a new novel called 'Magician' by Raymond E. Feist, of course this is a fantasy novel, but with a twist. Not a bad writter if I say so myself.

Well here I am again, and no doubt never going to live this night down, for I caught a cab back home, instead of partying hard with boys.

I'm sure to get some rib diggings for the next few days or even weeks knowing my luck.

But hey not all of us have the luxury of being able to sleep at work. ;)

Last night kind of drained me a little, so in some ways I won't mind being called a girl or something like that.

We Hiya All,

I hope you are all well, I promise to get Part-2 of my darkside life out, but every so often, I don't want to scare or bore you with my past life.

Instead I'll bore you with my present life and what I will be getting upto tonight. (hehe)

Well this is truely last minute as some of my friends have decided we need to hit the Gentlemens Club tonight, to celebrate Brett's promotion in the company he works for, he's told us that he is going shout us all a lap dance, I'll believe that when it actually happens tonight.

We're of to have dinner at the Oshimaki Restaurant (Traditional Japanese), so boy the sake will be flowing even before we hit the Gentlemens Club. I'm glad I'm not driving tonight.

I bought a new watch today as well, made by Ripcurl it's the Tidemaster Titanium, that's right the whole watch except for the face is completely made out of titanium, the face is Crystal. I felt I needed a new watch and decided to splurge and spoil myself.

Well I have to dash now the gangs here.

A Time In My Past..........Part-1

Well hi again!

This is the first part of of a story that reflects on my past and the near destrustion of my very soul and being. (Pease remember that this will take you on a journey to a much darker side of life, which does not reflect who I am today. And I do apologise in advance for some of it won't be in chronological order, but instead how my mind see's the events happening at present.)

My decline more or less started after my devoirce, and I left Australia to try and make a new start. I spent 8 years away from Oz, and four of those travelling like a bum, but those four years I don't recall much as it blurs quite a bit, it's more or less the next 4 years that I can remember more. Yes my mind and soul blocked an awful lot of my life out. I can remember landing in the UK and meeting my parents at Heathrow Airport, this was kind of a happy moment but also a sad moment in my life.

For about a year in the UK, I bummed around, then finally decided it was time get in to some work, I spent less that a year with a two bit technology company, this is were I meet two great people who introdused me to others, these friends of mine when I think back told me I was on the road to self destruction (And continually told me so.), but hey when you're in self pity mode you don't see that. I ended walking out of that company and started a job with Chicago Computers, things on the surface was good, but the darkside of my mind was always present I spent about 8months with Chicago, when I meet another person who I regard as a very close friend, not to mention he was the man that pouched me from Chicago to go and work for him in a large international organisation.

This man knew I had sound very bad demons hidding in my closet, and helped me to resolve some of them.

Well a blogging good morning to you all.

Hiya all,

Well, once more fear gripped me tight this morning, when I was about to approach the beautiful woman. I am thinking I need to change my tactics for approaching her, with maybe sending flowers and on the note asking her out to dinner to begin with, of course that means putting my number on the card. Well I guess I think on this a little longer before making the decision.

Well with everything that went on last night and into early morning, I'm surprised that I'm full of beans right now.

A nasty habit I had is slowly going away, that was I would drink at least 10 - 15 cups of coffee a day, I've been making on a board how many cups I drink in a day now, and wow I'm down 2 a day now, one in the morning at the Cafe and in the afternoon almost like a boost to my system.

Well it's that time of the day now, and I guess I must get started on work. A dear friend mentioned that she like my Blog, but need to stay away from talking about work her, she finds it boring, so I will attempt to not babble on to much about work. Just remember this is more or less whats in my mind, and just floods out of my mind.

By the way MEH, I really enjoyed reading your Blog, I'm glad the chocolate is a real passion for you and the Shanghai is a wonder place. ;)

As my night ends.......

Well the dinner went well, I stuffed myself and drunk marrily with long time friends, when I got to my surprise what do I find sitting in my inbox but another of my very true friends.

She is beautiful and intelligent, and I hold my heart deep for her, has answered my e-mail and has said hello.

This friend is more than a friend to me, but as a result of a silly thing I did, we grew apart. (But that is another story for another time, and yes that story will appear with this BLOG)

But for now, i must get my own beauty sleep.

So to all a goodnight in Oz, and for those in the north good morning or good afternoon.

Well this evening is just getting better!

Hi all, I can't believe my day has just gotten better, the woman I have my eye actually knows I exist, WOW. Then to top things off A very dear friend of mine I have seen nor heard from in over two years finally responds to my e-mail. To top things off completely is I'm now racing out to diner with another firend I haven't seen since I've been back in Oz.

Well sorry for the shortness of this entry, but I really need to get going now.

Well Hello Again.

It's now 10:17am and already shit has hit the fan at work.

With regards to the woman I was going to ask out well, I guess you can call me a coward, it's funny I can climb in to a plane and climb to 10,000 or 14,000 feet quite happily and hurl myself out the door without a problem, but when it comes to approuching a woman I freeze, stutter and get clammy hands. I consider myself fearless, I'll face the most difficult situations with calm cool collectiviness, but talking to a woman, well I hope you all get the gist of what I'm trying to say.

Now with regards to, I have a couple of projects on the go, and one of them has decided to take a rurn for the worst right now, and what really makes it hard is it's in New Zealand and right now I can't hop on a plane and fly there to sort the screw up, I'm having to try and articulate to the people in New Zealand to get across what we need done to rectify the problem. Boy it's like bashing you're head against a brick wall, and the weird thing about it is the brick wall actually understands what I'm getting at.

Well I think I've had my little bitch for now. :)

I put another update in later today some time. Stay tuned to this station.

Wow this day is finally over!

I can't believe how long this day took,! I guess I shouldn't complain as I did get a little shut eye today. (hehe)
Well it's 5:00pm and I'm going to race home in my new Volkswagen Passat 4 Motion so I can ready myself for another big night.

I fill you all in on what happens with me tonight and tomorrow morning, when I try to pluck the courage to ask the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in a long time out to dinner and a show. I hope all goes well for me, as it has been awhile since I have asked woman out.

Hi it's me again...

The day is dragging out and I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel at this moment in time.

Oh well! My mind ticks over for the next few minutes as I thinks of ways to upset the users of the company.

I have this damn meeting to go to at 3:30pm great I can sleep then, I do hope no one nudges me awake.

Well I guess I better go prepare my bed, oh I mean my seat for the meeting.
