To long lost friend Ozzie!

Hey Ozzie, it was great hearing from you, been a while I know. Well I will try to get in touch with you as soon as you send a contact number for me to call.

Besides that, I'm the French Connection is going well for you, but just remember work isn't everything, family and life need to be balanced, and you of all people should know that, you told me enough times.

Say hi to your beautiful wife for me. I'm envious of you that you can drink great wines for next to nothing, so be prepared for a few requests from time to time.

For all of you out there, mainly Phil and Giles, Ozzie says hi by the way, if you're not sure who I'm talking about e-mail and I will explain.

To Candy Girl, Ozzie also gives a warm welcome to you.

Now for a view from my place up in the mountains, looking over Surfers Paradise in Queensland Australia, the very tall building is Q1 the tallest residential building in the world.

Well, I will upload some more photo's of the cyclone swells and as well as my recent trip to New Zealand, but you will have to stay tuned.

Bye for now...

Back in New Zealand

Hey! Well I'm currently in Auckland for the next 3 days from this post, then on to Wellington for 2 days, followed by Christchurch for 2 days and then I fly back home to Australia.

I will try to get some pictures of the place whilst I'm here to post up on the blog.

At the moment its 11:15pm, I'm in my hotel room in front of the laptop, trying to think of something to say.

This trip is purely for work, come to think of it so is every other trip to New Zealand. Besides working for Pioneer Mortgage Services, I have a few other projects on the go, that should help to fund my way to becoming a photojournalist.

Oh before I go, I have to say thanks to all those that are posting to my blog.

To Gilesgraphics thanks my good old friend, I here from sources that you are DJ'ing again, just like to know how that is going for you, you old fart! Oh and isn't it about time you updated that website of yours? The pictures are getting old now.

Well to another very dear and sweet friend, Candy Girl, I haven't heard from you in a while, I hope all is well with you, and I hope to see your blog updated soon. Your true love DazmanJunket.

And of course where is that crazy woman Mandy? Once in a while I get an e-mail from you, and then nothing for ages! I know I should make more of an effort to keep in contact as well.

And Phil, I won't Giles that you told me that he is DJ'ing again.

Oh almost forgot, hi Chris or Ozzie! LTNH.

Well I'm off to to bed now, as I'm getting tired now, so I will leave this as it is now.

Goodnight all!

Sweet dreams Candy Girl!

Happy Easter...

Happy Easter everyone,

Well this Easter I have travelled south of Sydney, to a place called Berry, to spend some time with a friend and his family.

My friend owns a beautiful mountain lodge, which he uses on the weekends, but of late he's talking about making it his proper home. It the lodge is about 1hour and 45minutes away from Sydney.

I have taken some pictures of the place and him which I will post once I have better line speed to upload.

Well happy Easter once again, I have to make it short due to it's a big big day today and have plenty to do.

Well for now, this is Dazman bailing out the plane once more!

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Wednesday...Illness

On Wednesday I wasn't feeling so well, I had the worst headache ever, it got so bad that it was making me feel ill.

What a catastrophe that turned out to be for me. This has put me behind in my schedule. Well this Friday is Good Friday and thank goodness for that as this is an extended long weekend as we also get Easter Monday off. On the Tuesday I fly out to New Zealand, which will be hecktick for me as I have 5 days in Auckland, 3 days in Wellington and 3 days in Christchurch.

So I will try to get some happy snaps of New Zealand to post up here, the last few trips I have had to New Zealand I hadn't been able to get out and about to take some photos due to work commitments.

With regards to this long weekend, I am heading down to Sydney for the 4 days to visit some friends and to have an Easter dinner with them.

Till the next blog, live free, live fast and never be afraid to live on the edge.

Cyclone Swells...

Hi again, well five weeks ago North Queensland was thumped by two large cyclones, which devastate unusable, left the town and community an absolute mess and many people homeless, as well as leaving the farmers up there cropless.

But along with all comes massive swells to the Gold Coast. I was lucky enough to catch the terror of nature as well as the beauty of nature with my new camera.

This shot was captured at Duranba and measured 25 feet.

Due to how rough and big the swells are with the amount of air and sand being trapped by the breaking swells, it forms this think foam on the shore.

This is from a series of continuous shots I took of a large break rolling in out about 250 meters, I would say this stuff is not surfable..

But of course you always get some that think they can surf this stuff, and they did go out and yes they did need rescuing. Also look at the erusion the large swells do.

Monday Blue's

Well just a short blog today.

It's monday late afternoon, and I'm almost ready to go home, boy am I glad it's a short week this week and next week.

Well today has been hellish and I'm glad it's over, now to go home and relax in front of the TV. I don't usually do that, but due to having a busted leg right now, I have decided to become a couch potatoe in the evenings.

For all my friends that are either now getting up and getting ready for Monday, I hope you have a better day than I have had, and for you that are finishing work, just think only 3 days to go.

Well, I'll see how I feel before bedtime to whether I blog again.

Bye for now

Sunday Night

Well hi all it's Sunday Night and I'm getting ready for bed, but before I drop in to dreamland I thought I would blog again.

This weekend has been very strange, since being house and yard ridden, see I broke my leg a while again and had some complications with it, which has now got me in a wheel chair for a few week as I'm not allowed to stand on it, that's from the doctors and the surgeon, but what do they know?

But yes I am doing what they have told me, so I decided to play with my new camera around the house. The camera is a Pentax SLR Pro Series Digital with 8MP which can interpolate to 16MP.
The first set of photos are of my sisters dog Akasha. Isn't she a beautiful dog, she's 3 years and 4 months old now, but still the biggest baby I know as well as being spoilt.
Oh I forgot to say all photos were take with a 55 - 300mm Macro, Telefoto lens f3.4-f8, I have 3 other lens as well, one being a wide angle 17-55mm f2-f6.5 and a standard 17-80mm f2.8-f6.8, I currently have on order a telefoto zoom 300-1000mm f4-f8.

These next shots should be a little more interesting than the dawg. I'm pretty sure it is a green parakeet, it flow right by me and land about 4 feet from me, the image from the blog doesn't do it justice but when printed out wow this is one beautiful bird.
This spider is commonly known as the Southern Cross Spider, I'm not sure if it is poisonious to humans but when I saw this just sitting there I decided I needed to capture it as an image.

Well I have a whole lot of photos to to still put up but these will have to wait for now, as I'm feeling the pain killers kick in.

Oh special thanks to Candy Girl for the comment!

Dazman signing off, just remember all, Live Life to the MAX!
And may the lonest hearts find that one special heart.

A Hard Lesson About Love...

Well hi all, here I am again.

Hmmm you are wondering probably about the title, well long story that could have been avoided if I was smarter with regards to others.

There is someone dear to me, that lives a very long way away from me, we were at one point in our lives together, but of course being a man and being stupid at the time, caused no end of issue's with this very special person, and I decided to end the relationship. That in it self is the tough bit.

What is tough, is that I have had multiple chances to spark the passion again, and almost did, except that when things started to get rolling again, I choose to run from it and once again ended it. We are still very good friends, and we on very regular occassions spend the time chatting online about everything and anything.

Well a few days ago this wonderful person mentioned to me that they were thinking of getting married again, and we spoke with regards to the qualities and what we were both looking for, along with other things that makes love what it is, but I won't go in to full details of the chat.

But what I will say is that I one day thought we would be together, but I can almost certianly say that I may have blown those chances altogether, due to my own studipity in the way I handle a relationship.

So to all you guys out there, there has been a hard lesson learnt from this, which I am sharing with you all. Which is one - don't be afraid of commitment; two - open your eyes and stop being self centred, like I was; three - if the oppartunity cames around again with that special person grab it by the horns and go with it, or you'll end up either making the wrong choice and marrying someone that isn't right for you or single, unhappy and eventually lonely and regretting that you messed things up. And before you start to make excuses about it is all her fault the relationship fail in the first, look very closely at yourself first and stop making the same excuses as to make it feel as if it isn't your fault.

Take that from a person who has used all the excuses under the sun to sabotage his happiness with being with the person he loves the most.

Long Time between Blogs

Hi all guess this is a surprise for you all. My love and friend reminded me that it is important to keep these things going, and after sitting down and thinking about what was said, I have to agree with her.

So thanks for reminding once again, to take some time out of my rather busy and exciting life, so here I am doing so right now.
